This year SAFAL 2023 is being organised on 23rd and 30th September 2023.

Day 1: Festival Day – Sat 23rd Sep’23. (Free Event)

Venue: North Ryde School Of Arts Hall, Cox’s Road, North Ryde. Sydney

• 9.15am to 9.30am Festival launch. Art exhibition opens.
• 10.30am to 11.30am – Poetry Slam Competition:                Category Open (All Ages)
• 11.30am to 11.45am – Interlude
• 11.45am to 1.00pm – Talent Quest competition                 (Dance): Categories Junior (13-18 yo) & Open (18+yo)
• 1.00pm to 1.15pm - Interlude / Lunch 
• 1.15pm to 3.00pm – Talent Quest competition (Music): Categories: 

• Instrumental – Open (All ages)

• Singing Female solo – Junior (13-18 yo) & Open (18+yo)

• Singing Male solo – Junior (13-18 yo) & Open (18+yo)

• 3.00pm – 3.15pm – Interlude
• 3.15pm – 4.00pm – Literature panel 1
• 4.15pm – 5.00pm – Literature panel 2
• 5.15pm – 6.00pm – Literature Panel 3
  

Day 2 - Gala Dinner & Awards Night - Saturday 30th Sep’23.

(Ticketed Event)

Venue: Pioneer Theatre, Castle Hill, Sydney

• 5.30pm for 6.00pm – Arrival, registration, photo ops
• 6.00pm to 7.00pm – Lounge buffet dinner
• 7.00pm to 9.00pm – Award presentations, dance and music performances
• 9.00pm to 9.30pm – Overflow buffer.
